NEXQT at BAQ 2026 🌏
Our CEO, Fouzi Benkhelifa, was invited on the 12th of March to the Better Air Quality Conference (BAQ 2026), organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), UN Environment Programme, United Nations ESCAP , Clean Air Asia, and the Climate & Clean Air Coalition.
This year’s theme, “Together for Clear Skies: Driving Action, Accelerating Investment,” is perfectly aligned with our activities at NEXQT !
Cities face a critical challenge: more than 85 billion connected devices by 2026, yet only 10% of urban data becomes actionable.
Most cities still rely on emissions inventories that are up to 7 years out of date.
During the conference, we explained how to effectively collect this data, aggregate it, and transform it into actionable insights to help pilot climate action. We also shared concrete results explained by NEXQT, such as in the city of Paris:
📉 –34% CO₂ emissions following the creation of new bike lanes on Rue de Rivoli, proving that clear insights can drive real impact.
We are now engaging with several Asian cities and companies to adapt our transition intelligence platform to local needs, enabling public and private urban planners to target investments, trigger action, and track progress toward cleaner air.
